Miriam Hadar – The New Profile
This critical discussion focuses on the militarization of society. The workshop will give voice to questions about the prevalent role of the military in everyday life and the influence it wields on shaping Israeli socio-culture. What is the impact of the military on ordinary citizens? What is the price we pay for a militarized country? The discussion will uncover popular myths about the ways in which the military penetrates various aspects of Israeli society and culture.
